Meet the Doctor

Orange County NY has always been my home. The perfect place to open a practice.

Formally educated at the University of Albany, New York earning a bachelor of science degree in 1999, followed directly by four years at the University of Bridgeport, Connecticut earning a Doctor of Chiropractic in 2003. I am board-certified by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners.  Currently holding licenses to practice in New York and Pennsylvania.  I have been in clinical private practice for 20 years.

Many of my colleagues have very similar resumes, I commend them for it and wish them well. What sets me apart is what I was learning on the weekends during this formal education. During the summer of my 17th year, I became sick, riddled with neck pain, severe sinus congestion, and unable to sleep. After more than a few doctor visits with no relief my father called Dr. Robert McEwen a Chiropractor he had known for years. Dr. McEwen came to our house examined me and administered my first adjustment. Almost instantly the pain was gone, within 30 minutes the sinus congestion cleared and that night I slept like a stone. That singular event changed the course of my life and set me on a path to become a chiropractor. Dr. McEwen and I became close friends, he took me under his wing and I spent the next eight years of Saturdays in his office watching and learning. The gift of being taught by a doctor who has practiced for 50 years is something that you can't learn in a classroom setting. I have used his methods and techniques every day for the past 20 years with great success.

In 2006 I found it necessary to move my office. As luck would have it in the same town, not a block away Dr. Sidney Rose was selling his building. Dr. Rose also a chiropractor for 50 years had a wonderful career and practiced in a similar fashion to Dr. McEwen and myself. I find it amazing, that this
year I am running a practice that has existed in one form or another for 65 years.

What differentiates my office from many others is that I am the only doctor treating our patients. Not by necessity but by choice. My practice is much more than the doctor patient encounter. It has truly become an extended family. This is a very peaceful office where everyone is always welcome. There are never any hard-sell tactics used and no unnecessary treatment plans are recommended. I operate on a visit-by-visit basis and have done so for the entirety of my career. It is my mission to help our patients reach the level of pain relief and health they desire as quickly and safely as possible and do so in a way that honors the memory and teachings of the doctors who came before me.
